Anything Goes 1930

Madcap romance and mistaken identity on the high seas! Arguably Cole Porter's most popular musical. This show very nearly did not make it to Broadway. The original storyline told of a bomb threat, shipwreck and high jinx on a desert island. Just weeks before the opening, there was a terrible fire on an ocean liner so it was decided to re-write the show. The show name was changed from HARD TO GET to ANYTHING GOES and the rest is theatrical history!
