The Baker and his Wife, cursed with childlessness by their neighbor, the evil witch, must set out on various missions to gain "ingredients" from each fairytale; "Jack and the Beanstalk,"the cow as white as milk, "Little Red Riding Hood," the cape as red as blood, "Rapunzel," the hair as yellow as corn, and "Cinderella, the slipper as pure as gold.

The Baker's wife is a very forlorn woman who wants a child more than anything else in the world, but along the way to achieving that dream she finds herself falling in love with a prince.

Our Jack is dressed in traditional lederhosen, shirt, hat, and knee socks.
About the Character
This is Jack of the beanstalk fame who brings the wrath of the giants down on his village!

Lederhosen rent from $25 to $50. Shirts rent for $10 to $20. Alpine hats rent for $10 to $20.

Little Red Ridinghood
About the Costume
Little Red is wearing red skirt with attached apron, white blouse, and black bodice/vest. She is wearing a long red hooded cape.
About the Character
Little Red is one of the center characters in this show as she journeys "into the woods" to visit her grandmother and meets the Big Bad Wolf along the way.

Cinderella's Prince
About the Costume
This prince is wearing a white coat with red and gold appointments in military style with white pants and black boots.
About the Character
This Prince is not sure that he is ready for marriage as he and the other Prince sing \"AGONY\".

Rapunze's Prince
About the Costume
Rapunzel's Prince is wearing a red jacket with white accent and gold trim, black pants with sword belt and sword. (Often the two princes are dressed almost like twins which costumes we also can provide.)

Rapunzel's prince is in "AGONY" over his decision to marry.
Pricing
The coat and pants shown rent for $60. The boots rent for $25. Sword belts vary in rental price from $15 to $25. Metal swords range in rental price from $15 to $50.

The Mysterious Man
About the Costume
The mysterious man is dressed in an old medieval tunic with hood, tan pants and a heavy knitted shirt and rags.
About the Character
This mysterious "raggedy man" is actually the baker's father in disguise.

Florinda

Florinda is seen here in her gown for the ball...a garish flowered creation...wearing a lovely hair style and her "blind man's" glasses.

Florinda is one of Cinderella's ugly step sisters who is blinded because of the way she treats Cinderella.

This two piece gown rents for $75. Hoops skirts and petticoats rent for $15 to $25.

Lucinda

Lucinda is wearing her finery for the Prince's Ball.
About the Character
Lucinda is the second of Cinderella's ugly step sisters. Here she is all dressed up but can't go anywhere because she cannot see!

Rapunzel
About the Costume
Rapunzel is wearing a lavendar medieval style dress trimmed in pink with large flowing sleeves. She has an abundance of blonde hair.
About the Character
Rapunzel is the daughter of the witch in this play and has been raised in a tower in the woods far away from everyone and everything so that she is pure and innocent.
Pricing
This particular dress rents for $55. The wig rents for $35. There are many other costumes that are suitable for Rapunzel ranging in rental price from $50 to $125.

The Wolf
About the Costume
There are a number of different ways to dress the wolf for this show, but we have chosen to dress him in finery. He is wearing a colonial style coat and vest with knickers and a ruffled shirt.
About the Character
What\'s to say? He is the big bad wolf out to eat up Red Riding Hood and her grannie!
